Rev. David Graves is a retired general superintendent of the Church of the Nazarene. He has had pastoral assignments in Kansas, Ohio, Tennessee, Oklahoma, and North Carolina. He is the author of three books and has written for numerous publications. Graves is a graduate of Olivet Nazarene University and Nazarene Theological Seminary. In 2003, Olivet granted him an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree.

Rev. Graves and his wife, Sharon, currently reside in Olathe, Kansas. They have four adult children and 12 grandchildren.
